Ophthalmologist on the Move: Dr. Nazanin Barzideh Joins New York’s Winthrop-University Hospital

Nazanin Barzideh, MD, a vitreoretinal surgeon, has joined Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola, N.Y., according to a report by the Garden City News.

Dr. Barzideh has been a member of Danbury (Conn.) Eye Physicians and Surgeons.

 

She earned her MD from SUNY Upstate, interned in medicine at Westchester Medical Center, was a resident at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center and received subspecialty training at the Bert M. Glaser National Retina Institute.
