UPMC Memorial Hospital readies to open outpatient center, hospital — 4 insights

The replacement UPMC Memorial Hospital in York, Pa., and its new outpatient center will open Aug. 18, the York Daily Record reports.

1. The outpatient center is five stories and is connected to the hospital.

2. Measuring in at 120,000 square feet, the facility features an ASC, a women’s imaging suite, a sleep lab, an oncology center, an infusion center and an imaging center.

3. The outpatient center also has a rooftop garden.

4. The hospital features 102 private rooms and 24 long-term beds. It has four operating rooms.
