Cleveland-based University Hospitals expanded on the scope of its $200 million Beachwood, Ohio-based Ahuja Medical Center expansion project, local affiliate News 5 Cleveland reports.

What you should know:

1. The health system will break ground on the 64,000-square-foot expansion this fall.

2. Developers project the expansion will take three years to complete.

3. The five-floor hospital tower will include an ASC, a women’s health center, a neonatal intensive care unit, a labor and delivery unit, a women’s health center and a sports medicine complex.

4. The ASC will allow Ahuja Medical Center to free up space in its 10 operating suites.
