UNC plans medical office, ASC opening in 2020 — 3 things to know

Chapel Hill, N.C.-based UNC Health Care has a medical building project underway in Cary, N.C., according to DPR Construction.

Three things to know:

1. UNC is erecting a 96,700-square-foot medical office building that will include an ASC, imaging suites, a pharmacy and multiple medical clinics.

2. DPR Construction plans to accelerate construction by using a virtual design and construction program, as well as prefabricated plumbing, electrical and conduit materials, and tilt-up walls.

3. The building is scheduled to open in spring 2020.
