Los Angeles-based University of Southern California’s Keck Medicine will open a four-story, 100,000-square-foot medical office building in Pasadena later this year, the Los Angeles Times reported April 10.

According to the report, the location aims to expand Keck Medicine’s clinical care for residents in Pasadena, Calif., and the surrounding San Gabriel Valley region. Rod Hanners, CEO of Keck Medicine, told the Times that the new location would be the “largest and most advanced outpatient setting” within the system.

The new center will employ researchers and physicians from the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, USC Cardiac and Vascular Institute and the USC orthopaedic surgery team. It will offer a range of service lines including care for autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular disease, oncology, infusion therapy, orthopedics and spine, outpatient imaging and surgery, pain management and physical therapy.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
