1. Children’s Hospital will absorb Tulane Lakeside Hospital for Women and Children’s inpatient pediatric intensive care services. Lakeside hospital will shift its focus to providing adult intensive care and opening an orthopedic surgery center.

2. Children’s will add 120 pediatric providers through the partnership.

3. The affiliation will help with talent recruitment and national grants.
