Surgery Center Services of America opens ophthalmology ASC in New York

Surgery Center Services of America has opened Greater Binghamton (N.Y.) Eye Surgery Center, CEO Philip Blair said in a July 14 email.

The Greater Binghamton Eye Surgery Center features two operating rooms. It is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by CMS, the email said. 

The center is a part of the 14 ASCs that Mesa, Ariz.-based Surgery Center Services of America is planning to open by October.
