New ASC Development

Cleveland-based University Hospitals is adding an ASC at its Beachwood, Ohio, location as part of a $236 million expansion project, according to a June 2 report from cleveland.com.  

AdventHealth has opened a 30,000-square-foot medical office building in Palm Coast, Fla., according to a June 3 report from the Observer.

National Spine & Pain Centers opened Dallas-based National Spine & Ortho in March, Community Impact reported June 2.

The University of Rochester Medicine Center for Orthopaedics and Physical Performance Surgery Center in Henrietta, N.Y. opened, Hammes Healthcare said May 31.

Beacon Health System in South Bend, Ind. and Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center in Elkhart, Ind. opened The Surgery Center of Granger (Ind.), according to a May 25 news release from the health system.

The revamped University of Maryland Laurel Medical Center will open June 4, Patch reported May 22.

The Southeast has the most ASCs of any region in the country, according to an April report from Definitive Healthcare. 

York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health is building a 34,000-square-foot ASC in Lancaster, Pa., according to a May 18 report from Lancaster Online.
