Sutter Health has completed construction of a 69,000-square-foot ambulatory care center and surgery center as part of its broader plan to build more than two dozen ambulatory care centers in the region over the next four years.

Gaithersburg, Md.-based Adventist HealthCare has opened a new ASC at its National Harbor, Md., location. The new outpatient center is projected to perform 300 surgeries per month in its first year of operation. 

Consulting firm QK has submitted a plan for a mixed-use project that includes a 22,525-square-foot ASC, according to The Hanford Sentinel. 

Valdosta-based South Georgia Medical Center joined forces with the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new SGMC Ambulatory Care Center, according to a July 9 report from Valdosta Daily Times.
