Salem (Ohio) Regional Medical Center plans to launch a phased opening of its new SRMC Surgery & Outpatient Pavilion in Columbiana, Ohio, beginning at the end of March, according to a March 5 report from CBS affiliate WKBN.

New Lenox, Ill.-based Silver Cross Hospital and Premier Suburban Medical Group are set to open a multispecialty center in Orland Park, Ill.

The Sussex County Planning and Zoning Commission has preliminarily approved three medical office buildings in Rehoboth Beach, Del., according to a March 2 report from DelawareOnline.com. 

Construction has begun on three medical office buildings in Indian Land, S.C., according to a Feb. 29 report from the Charlotte Business Journal.

Green Bay, Wis.-based Bellin Health has unveiled a new specialty surgery and specialty center in Ashwaubenon, Wis., on the property of a vacant Menards store, according to a Feb. 27 report from ABC affiliate WBAY.

The University of Chicago Medicine is planning to open a 130,000-square-foot multispecialty care center in Indiana.

Surgery Ventures, through a joint venture with more than 50 physicians, opened Silicon Valley Surgery Center.
