New ASC Development

Here are three ASC moves throughout the Midwest that Becker's has reported on since Jan. 18:

New Jersey physician Mohammad Zubair, MD, is seeking approval for a three-story medical office building in Edison, N.J., according to a Feb. 16 report from My Central Jersey.

The Muskegon (Mich.) Surgery Center has completed a $9.3 million expansion project, NBC affiliate WOOD reported Feb. 13.

Here are eight openings and expansions of ASCs and medical buildings in Florida, California and New York that Becker's has reported on since Jan. 5:

Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health and Compass Surgical Partners have opened a 12,000-square-foot ASC in Springfield, Ohio. 

A new ASC in Orlando, Fla., has secured $22.5 million in funding from Raleigh, N.C.-based First Citizens Bank. 

A 10,500-square-foot ASC will be built in Munster, Ind., Valpo.Life reported Feb. 3.

Stafford, Conn.-based Johnson Memorial Hospital is planning an upgrade of its Enfield, Conn., surgery center, according to a Feb. 5 report by Hartford Business Journal.

Jacksonville Beach, Fla.-based Horizon Surgery Center — the first joint ASC between Jacksonville, Fla.-based Baptist Health and ASC management organization Compass Surgical Partners — is set to open in early February, according to a Feb. 4 report from Jacksonville.com. 

Community Health Development Partners has announced plans to open a $20 million ASC in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
