New ASC Development

A new ASC is coming to Foley, Ala., near South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, which is launching a $250 million expansion project. 

Remedy Medical Properties and Kayne Anderson Real Estate have broken ground on a 130,000-square-foot medical office building in Lynchburg, Va., according to an April 3 report from REBusiness Online. 

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and city officials from Powell, Ohio, celebrated the start of construction on an $183 million outpatient facility.

A three-story medical office building is set to open in Spring, Texas, in May, according to a March 28 report from the Houston Business Journal.

A $21 million ASC, TriStar Summit Surgery Center, has opened in Lebanon, Tenn., according to a March 30 report from The Lebanon Democrat. 

Phoenix-based Banner Health has submitted an application to construct a three-story medical office building in Scottsdale, Ariz., according to a March 28 report from Hoodline. 

The Hayden (Idaho) Surgery Center has initiated its phased opening process, the Coeur d'Alene Press reported March 31.

The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System approved a completed market assessment for a 37,000-square-foot ASC in Colorado Springs, Colo.
