New ASC Development

Pennsylvania-based Mediplex Property Group has finished repurposing an existing two-story office building in King of Prussia, Pa., into an outpatient health facility, according to a May 13 report from Commercial Cafe. 

A new ASC is under construction at a shopping center in Cookeville, Tenn., according to a May 12 report from the Upper Cumberland Business Journal.

Panoramic Health has opened a Brandon, Fla.-based ASC in partnership with Tampa, Fla.-based Florida Kidney Physicians, the state's largest nephrology group. 

Windom (Minn.) Area Health has started construction on a $32 million medical office building that was approved by the City Council a little over a year ago, according to a May 9 report from WindomNews.com. 

Burlington-based University of Vermont Medical Center's president and COO, Stephen Leffler, MD, posted a letter to the community encouraging support for a new $130 million ASC, according to a May 8 report from the Burlington Free Press. 

Weymouth, Mass.-based South Shore Health plans to add operating rooms to its Hingham, Mass.-based ASC, the health system said in an April 29 news release.

A two-story, 42,000-square-foot medical office building has opened in Orland Park, Ill., according to a May 7 report from REBusiness Online.
