HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is seeking approval for a $50 million expansion at its O'Fallon, Ill.-based medical campus, according to an Oct. 4 report from the Belleville News-Democrat.

Capital Healthcare Properties and HSG Medical have partnered to open an ASC in Naperville, Ill., REjournals reported Oct. 3. 

Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health is now a shared owner in Bismarck, N.D.-based ASC Brightside Surgical. 

San Antonio-based Methodist Hospital Northeast opened an outpatient surgery department in its newest medical office building, Community Impact reported Oct. 1.

New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System has opened Peakpoint Midtown West Surgery Center, a 25,106-square-foot ASC. 

St. Louis-based Mercy, the Heartland Whole Health Institute and the Alice L. Walton Foundation announced a $700 million, 30-year affiliation agreement, Phelps County Focus reported Sept. 24.
