Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health has opened a seventh ASC to serve the region in Annapolis, Md., according to a Sept. 18 report from The Baynet.

On Oct. 14, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services will hold a public hearing for Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s certificate-of-need application to open a new ASC, the Winston-Salem Journal reported Sept. 18.

The University of Louisville (Ky.) – South Hospital in Bullitt County plans to open a new outpatient center, reported WLKY Sept. 10.
