New ASC Development

The American Pain Consortium has opened a new ASC in Brownsburg, Ind., specializing in interventional pain management. 

HCA Healthcare affiliate Surgery Ventures has partnered with healthcare real estate development firm NexCore Group to open an ASC and medical office building in Katy, Texas. 

Here are 13 ASCs that were opened or announced in November, as reported by Becker's:

Colorado Springs (Colo.) Cardiology broke ground on a medical office building and ASC, according to a Nov. 26 report by The Gazette.

Georgetown, Del.-based Sussex Pain Relief Center is looking to open a pain management-focused ASC in Lewes, Del.,the Delaware Business Times reported Nov. 25. 

Covington, La.-based St. Tammany Health System will soon open a new $75 million ASC, Nola.com reported Nov. 21. 

Here are seven new ASCs that have opened, earned approval or started construction in the South that Becker's has reported on since Nov. 6:

Cooper Green Mercy Health Services Authority, an affiliate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System, is opening a new Birmingham-based ambulatory care facility in December. 

An administrative law judge has approved Montgomery, Ala.-based Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons' plan for a surgical facility.

The River Landing Surgery Center opened its doors in Montrose, Colo., according to a Nov. 15 report from the Montrose Press.
