New ASC Development

Foley, Ala.-based South Baldwin Regional Medical Center is rebranding, changing its name to Baldwin Health. 

A $30 million "smart" ASC is poised to open in Amherst, N.Y., Oct. 24, capping a five-year construction project, according to an Oct. 17 report from Buffalo Business First. 

Chicago-based Northwestern Medicine's Northwestern Hospital Huntley (Ill.) has earned approval for a new medical office building, according to an Oct. 16 report from Shaw Local News Network.

Phoenix-based Virtuous Health Centers has undergone a $3.2 million build-out at its ASC in Tempe, Ariz., according to an Oct. 17 report from the Phoenix Business Journal.

An 80,000-square-foot medical office building in Panama City Beach, Fla., has been completed on behalf of The St. Joe Co. and Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, according to an Oct. 16 report from REBusiness Online.

The Lake Erie (Pa.) College of Osteopathic Medicine has opened a new ASC, according to an Oct. 15 report from TalkErie.com.

Greenville, S.C.-based Prisma Health has opened an outpatient surgery center in Greenville, the Greenville Journal reported Oct. 14.

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Nemours Children’s Health has converted a building in Malvern, Pa., into a medical facility with an ASC, according to an Oct. 11 report from ENRMidAtlantic.
