Here are 15 new ASCs that were opened or announced over the past month:

Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland (Calif.) opened a new outpatient center, Healthcare Design magazine reported.

Glendale-based Ascension Wisconsin plans to begin construction on an 83,000-square-foot medical center with an ASC by the end of the year, The Journal Times reported.

Chicago-based Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital is set to open a new outpatient surgery center next month in Northbrook, Ill., Crain's Chicago Business reported.

Construction on Doylestown (Pa.) Health's Richard A. Reif Heart Institute is underway, and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2019, Bucks Local News reported.

Great Neck, N.Y.-based Northwell Health will develop a medical complex on The University Financing Foundation's $232 million property, The Real Deal reports.

Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics opened a 90,000-square-foot medical office and surgery center in East Providence, R.I.

Conway (S.C.) Ophthalmology Associates' Charles Proctor, MD, received city approval for a new office building and surgery center, myhorrynews.com reports.

Construction is underway on the South Sioux City, Neb.-based Riverview Surgery Center, according to Curtis Group Architects.
