Here are 15 new ASCs that were opened or announced over the past month:

Construction is complete on the 81,000-square foot Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Cypress Creek Medical Pavilion with a 16,000-square-foot ASC.

Roswell-based Eye Associates of New Mexico held the ribbon cutting and grand opening for its Roswell surgery center July 17.

Bangor, Maine-based Downeast Surgery Center broke ground on a new facility to replace its current 28-year-old facility.

Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho began construction on an ASC in Leland, N.C., July 26.

A five-story Penn Highlands DuBois West Wing annex is the first project in Penn Highlands Healthcare’s plan and will include a new ambulatory surgery center with its own recovery area, pre and postsurgery area and operating rooms.

Clifton Park, N.Y.-based Ellis Medicine received state approval for its $13.64 million, 40,000-square-foot surgical center.
