Medical Facilities Corp., and Chesterfield, Mo.-based St. Luke's Hospital opened St. Luke's Surgery Center of Chesterfield Sept. 14.

Fishersville, Va.-based Augusta Health expects to break ground on an outpatient pavilion Sept. 16, the News Leader reports.

Great Falls, Mont.-based Benefis Health System purchased a site in a former shopping mall in Helena, Mont., to develop a freestanding clinic that'll contain a surgery center, local news affiliate KBZK reports.

McKinney-based Texas Vision and Laser Center expects to break ground on a new medical office building and surgery center Sept. 14, The Dallas Morning News reports.

Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health and Thomas Jefferson University plan to develop a 19-story, $762 million specialty care pavilion, as part of a plan to invest more than $1 billion into the community.

Towson, Md.-based SurgCenter Development and five Indiana surgeons are developing the Lake George Surgical Center in Fremont, Ind., Hillsdale Daily News reports.

San Antonio Vascular and Endovascular Clinic recently broke ground on Mission Surgery Center, a medical office building with a surgery center, the San Antonio Business Journal reports.
