New ASC Development

Downers Grove, Ill.-based DuPage Medical Group has opened a medical office building in Westmont, Ill., according to an April 12 release.  

The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York City is now interviewing private development partners for the $1 billion renovation of its campus and the development of an ASC and outpatient diagnostic center, according to Real Estate Weekly.

Hartford, Ky.-based Ohio County Healthcare is adding a $16 million surgery center, which is expected to break ground mid-fall. 

Renovation has begun on Buffalo, N.Y.-based Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's Head & Neck Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Speech Pathology & Dental Center, according to an April 8 release.

Philadelphia-based MidLantic Urology opened a $3 million ASC in Wayne, Pa., MyChesCo reported April 9.

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare broke ground on a 19,000-square-foot ASC in Willis, Texas.

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente is building a $25 million facility with an ASC in Woodbridge, Va.

Raleigh, N.C.-based ASC developer Compass Surgical Partners has opened or announced three ASCs in the past few months, bringing their total partnered ASCs to 19. 

Pennsylvania Dermatology Partners in King of Prussia plans to open a cancer surgery center on the third floor of its new location, according to an April 9 press release.  

Quincy (Ill.) Medical Group is one step closer to opening its surgery center.
