Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, Ind., is modifying a remodeling plan to include an update to an ASC, Inside Indiana Business reported Aug. 17. 

Atlas Healthcare Partners, Banner Health and Cardiac Solutions are opening a cardiovascular ASC in Sun City, Ariz., on Aug. 25, Atlas announced. 

Here are seven hospitals and health systems that opened or announced plans for an ASC in July:

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs opened a new outpatient clinic in Tulsa, Okla., to provide care to approximately 36,000 veterans.

Raleigh, N.C.-based Rex Healthcare, a subsidiary of UNC Healthcare, built a medical building with an ASC, according to New City Design Group, a design group involved with the project.

Northwest Eye Surgeons opened an ophthalmology clinic and ASC in Seattle, according to an Aug. 13 LinkedIn post. 

Indiana University Health opened a multispecialty ASC in Fort Wayne, Ind., CBS affiliate WANE 15 reported Aug. 12.  

Quincy (Ill.) Medical Group in the coming weeks will officially open a five-operating room surgery center that has been in the works since 2019, ABC affiliate KHQA reported Aug. 11.

Physician-owned Durango, Colo.-based Animas Surgical Hospital's new ASC performed its first procedures, the hospital said Aug. 10.
