New ASC Development

Covington, La.-based St. Tammany Health System will begin construction of a $75 million surgical center this fall, nola.com reported Oct. 11.

Spectrum Health has filed a certificate of need for a $23.2 million cardiovascular ASC in Grand Rapids, Mich., MiBiz reported Oct. 11. 

University of Vermont Medical Center is reopening a previously shuttered outpatient surgery center this fall, a year after it closed because of air circulation problems, VTDiggerr reported Oct. 11. 

Buffalo (N.Y.) Surgery Center submitted a certificate of need to expand into a new facility, Buffalo Business First reported Oct. 8. 

Hillsboro, Ohio-based Adena Greenfield Medical Center broke ground on a $3 million medical office building, the center said Oct. 7.
