New ASC Development

A Georgia certificate-of-need appeal panel approved Northside Hospital's plan to build a surgery center in Braselton, the hospital said Oct. 25. 

Kaiser Permanente's "topped out" its new Murrieta (Calif.) Ambulatory Surgery Center, ConXtech, a construction company involved with the project, said Oct. 24. 

Leawood, Kan.-based ValueHealth is partnering with Coral Springs, Fla.-based Z Urology to build a single-specialty ASC, ValueHealth said in an Oct. 21 news release.

Clara Barton Hospital is conducting a $15 million building expansion project featuring an ASC in Hoisington, Kan., Great Bend Tribune reported Oct. 21. 

Construction of a 5,000-square-foot full-service surgical center and 4,200-square-foot endovascular clinic has been completed in a New York City shopping center for the American Endovascular & Amputation prevention group, builder Eastman Cooke & Associates said Oct. 20.

University of California Davis Health is expanding its presence in Folsom with a long-term project spanning nearly 35 acres, and the health system said Oct. 20 that the first portion to be completed will be an outpatient clinic in 2025.

Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network is planning to build an ASC focused on infertility treatments, according to CBS affiliate KDKA.

Plant City-based South Florida Baptist Hospital broke ground on construction for a new hospital building and a medical office building, the hospital said Oct. 20 in a news release.

Benefis Health System is planning a facility with an ASC and specialty clinics in Helena, Mont., Independent Record reported Oct. 20.  

Children's Hospital of San Antonio is building a pediatric surgery center at its downtown campus, according to the San Antonio Business Journal.
