New ASC Development

St. George (Utah) Surgical Center is opening a state-of-the-art, 13,000-square-foot ASC with four operating rooms. 

Muhlenberg Ambulatory Surgery Center in Plainfield, N.J. opened at the site of the former Muhlenberg Hospital, My Central Jersey reported June 5.

Three ASCs in the last year have been approved despite facing opposition from residents and other health systems in the area. 

Cleveland-based University Hospitals is adding an ASC at its Beachwood, Ohio, location as part of a $236 million expansion project, according to a June 2 report from cleveland.com.  

AdventHealth has opened a 30,000-square-foot medical office building in Palm Coast, Fla., according to a June 3 report from the Observer.

National Spine & Pain Centers opened Dallas-based National Spine & Ortho in March, Community Impact reported June 2.

Beacon Health System in South Bend, Ind. and Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center in Elkhart, Ind. opened The Surgery Center of Granger (Ind.), according to a May 25 news release from the health system.
