New ASC Development

When it comes to medical device procurement and patient billing, many surgical services teams at hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers use manual, paper-based processes that are inefficient and insufficient for inventory control and device tracking. 

Jefferson City, Mo.-based Capital Region Medical Center has converted a hospital parking garage into the 24,000-square-foot Goldschmidt Surgery Center, according to a Dec. 6 report from the News Tribune.

The construction of a 35,000-square-foot multispecialty clinic and ASC in Eagan, Minn., will soon be underway, according to Minneapolis-based developer Davis. This new development will be anchored by Midwest Surgery Center.

The Dutchess Ambulatory Surgical Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., is relocating within the city, the Hudson Valley Post reported Nov. 30.
