SurgCenter breaks ground on $4M surgery center — 4 insights

Local leaders broke ground on a $4 million facility in Jeffersonville, Ind. that will primarily house River Ridge Surgical Suites, WDRB.com reports.

What you should know:

1. The Towsonm Md.-based SurgCenter Development-developed facility will be 12,000 square feet with the surgery center occupying 7,400 square feet. It is SurgCenter’s 10th facility in the state. 

2. Other physcian groups will lease space in the facility.

3. The facility will open this fall.
