Five highlights:
1. Valleygate recently signed a long-term lease with an option to purchase. The Keith Corporation will provide maintenance services.
2. The single-specialty, dental-only ASC project won a North Carolina Humanitarian Award for addressing the area’s lack of pediatric dental and medical care. The facility was also a finalist in the Healthcare Real Estate Insights Awards for 2018.
3. The ASC features two operating rooms, two procedure rooms, six semi-private recovery areas and four rooms for preoperative, postoperative and private exam needs.
4. ASC surgeons will perform an estimated 20-plus procedures daily.
5. Carolinas Center for Ambulatory Dentistry (doing business as Valleygate Dental Surgery Center of Charlotte) procured one of only four certificates of need in the state for the development.
