Florida ASC, patient pavilion get $25M in funding

A $25 million gift is funding a new ASC and Medical Arts Pavilion at Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

Billionaires Toby and Leon Cooperman donated the money, and the ASC and pavilion will be named for the couple.

A total of $150 million has been raised for the new facilities. The donation came as part of the hospital's $250 million fundraising campaign, which was launched in January.
