Finishing touches added to West Virginia ASC

Wheeling (W.Va.) Hospital’s ASC in is nearly complete, according to the Wheeling News-Register.

The hospital bought the building that now houses the Wheeling Hospital Ambulatory Surgery Center in March, and recently finished putting up the center’s signs. The building had been vacant two years and was previously expected to open in August.

Earlier this year, Wheeling Hospital closed its Bellaire, Ohio-based Belmont Hospital amid an effort to redistribute services throughout Ohio.
