California medical office building earns city approval

Plans for a two-story medical office building in Carlsbad, Calif., were unanimously approved by the city council on Dec. 3, according to a Dec. 4 report from The Coast News Group.

However, the Grand Hope Medical Office project faced some concerns from council members over a lack of proposed parking spaces at the 10,000-square-foot facility. 

The building will be seven times larger than the former medical facility on the site, according to the report. The former facility only housed three tenant spaces.
