Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland opens 89K-sq.-ft. outpatient center

Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland (Calif.) opened a new outpatient center, Healthcare Design magazine reported.

The six story, 89,000-square-foot facility includes space for outpatient surgery, exam rooms, physical rehabilitation and more.

The outpatient center was designed as a LEED for Healthcare Silver facility, meaning its building materials, energy use and air quality are environmentally friendly.
