Slated for completion in October 2020, the ambulatory center will offer orthopedics, ENT, urology, plastic surgery and endoscopy.
The center is intended to help EAMC with space issues. It will also offer learning opportunities for students of the Blacksburg, Va.-based Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.
“I don’t know if I’ve ever seen members of the hospital leadership, members of the university leadership, members of the community leadership, but also members of the medical staff really on the same [page], sharing a common goal and vision quite like this,” said orthopedic surgeon Trent Wilson, MD. Dr. Wilson is a managing member of EAMC’s surgery center.
