4 new ASCs in New York

Here are four new ASCs and outpatient care centers popping up in New York, as reported by Becker’s since Sept. 5:

  1. Albany (N.Y.) Med Health System broke ground on an expansion at Greene Medical Arts in Catskill, N.Y., that will include a same-day surgery center. 
  2. NYU Langone Health opened an ambulatory practice in Commack, N.Y.
  3. New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian opened NewYork-Presbyterian The One, an outpatient center in White Plains, N.Y. 
  4. Two plastic surgeons, Oren Tepper, MD, and Evan Garfein, MD, launched Greenwich Street Surgical, a membership-based surgical facility in New York City.
