The expansion comprises 26,500 square feet and includes four operating rooms, and a 10 bay post-anesthesia care unit. Physicians at the multispecialty center perform joint replacement, ophthalmology and general surgery procedures.
“The Lexington community has needed and deserved a new surgical facility for quite some time so this project allows people in Davidson County and the surrounding areas to continue to receive a full range of convenient, high-quality and specialized care and treatment close to home,” Julie Freischlag, MD, Wake Forest Baptist Health CEO told the Triad Business Journal.
