Two physicians affiliated with Buffalo (N.Y.) Spine & Sports Medicine have filed plans to open a standalone ASC in Amherst, N.Y., according to a May 7 report from NBC affiliate WGRZ.
The ASC will total 9,000 square feet, according to the plan filed with the town of Amherst. The project earned initial approvals from the town planning department in February.
The plan was filed by Corine Cicchetti, MD, and Michael Cicchetti, MD, who specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
