The Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society launched its Experience OOSS app to provide updates in advance of OOSS Perspective 2019 meeting May 5 in San Diego.

What you should know:

1. The app will provide ASCs access to the organization’s multiple online resources.

2. The app will also provide information on the annual meeting, including notifications, speaker itineraries, an activity feed, surveys and a video library.

3. OOSS President Maria Scott, MD, said: “With these priorities in mind, we designed an app that would make it possible for users to conveniently access OOSS advantages from a mobile device. The app also simplifies and enhances the attendee experience at our annual OOSS meetings.”
