Former Envision VP to lead ophthalmology organization’s M&A — 3 highlights

Cincinnati-based CEI Vision Partners named Carl Berglind vice president of mergers and acquisitions.

Here are three highlights:

1. Mr. Berglind will head CVP’s newly formed M&A division.

2. He was previously Nashville, Tenn.-based Envision (AmSurg) Healthcare’s senior vice president of strategic transactions, overseeing $1.7 billion of mergers and acquisitions. Envision completed more than 20 acquisitions during his tenure.

3. He possesses more than 20 years of transactional experience.
