What you should know:
1. The Public Health and Health Planning Council’s establishment committee granted the surgery center permission to modify its ownership structure.
2 If approved, Buffalo Surgery Center will add orthopedic surgeons David Pula, MD, and Ryan Wilkins, MD, from Buffalo, N.Y.-based Excelsior Orthopedics.
3. The center will also add colorectal surgeon Daniel Leberer, MD, from Williamsville, N.Y.-based Buffalo Surgery Center.
4. The Public Health and Health Planning Council will consider the proposal in February.
