What you should know:
1. Dr. Smink currently serves as the hospital’s associate chair of education in its surgery department and as the general surgery residency program director.
2. He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania, completed a general surgery residency at Brigham and Women’s, and completed a minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
3. Dr. Smink is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Surgical Education and was selected by the American College of Surgeons to its Academy of Master Surgeon Educators.
