ASC leader to know: Jeffrey Simmons of Regent Surgical Health

Jeffrey Simmons is the development leader and a partner at Westchester, Ill.-based Regent Surgical Health.

In his position, Mr. Simmons is responsible for all of Regent’s acquisition and development efforts.

Mr. Simmons has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare. Before his tenure at Regent, he led business development for 18 hospitals as the vice president of marketing for Dallas-based American Medical International, which was acquired and no longer exists.

Mr. Simmons also served as the CEO of two specialty hospitals and as an associate CEO of a full-service acute hospital.
