ASC leader to know: Dr. James Scott of Georgia Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Clinic

Orthopedic surgeon James Scott, MD, practices at Georgia Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Clinic in Tifton. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Scott is the president of Georgia Society of Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Thirteen healthcare leaders, including Dr. Scott, comprise the state’s ASC association’s board of directors.

He earned his medical degree from Augusta-based Medical College of Georgia. Following medical school, Dr. Scott underwent his residency at Tulane University in New Orleans.
