Here are four ways ASC leaders can keep their long-term employees happy:
1. Provide room for growth. Prioritizing professional development for ASC employees will help them grow and expand their skills, investing their expertise back into the center.
2. Cultivate company culture. Creating an environment that allows employees to thrive will encourage them to stay long-term. Addressing problems with organizational culture such as poor management and toxic behaviors can also foster a great company culture.
3. Offer great benefits. When ASCs provide their employees with benefits such as paid time off, retirement savings plans and health coverage, they feel valued and are more encouraged to stay long-term.
4. Pay employees fairly. Consult sources like the ASCA to determine fair compensation rates for ASC employees. Competitive pay can also attract top talent to an ASC.
