Here are four things to know.
1. Dr. Bosco is professor and vice chair for the department of orthopedic surgery at NYU Langone Health in New York City.
2. Dr. Bosco is beginning a four-year volunteer service term for the AAOS. From 2020 to 2021, he will serve as president.
3. AAOS elected Dr. Bosco to its board of directors in 2013. He was previously a 2005 Leadership Fellows Program member, the Annual Meeting Committee chair and involved with the Council on Education.
4. After earning his medical degree from Larner College of Medicine at University of Vermont in Burlington, Dr. Bosco completed an internship and residency at University of North Carolina Medical Center in Chapel Hill, N.C. He also completed a fellowship at University of Arizona in Tucson.
