Surgery Partners selects chief human resources officer — 4 facts

Surgery Partners created a chief human resources officer role and named Angela Justice, PhD, to the position. Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Justice will assume the role March 12 and report to Surgery Partners CEO Wayne DeVeydt.

2. In her most recent role as chief learning officer at Biogen, Dr. Justice supported 14,000 people across various departments and implemented a learning technology system. She also served as senior director of global medical affairs at Biogen.

3. Dr. Justice previously served as executive vice president and vice president at the National MS Society and was a leader of EMD Serono’s medical science liaisons team.

4. Dr. Justice earned a PhD in biopsychology at the University of Chicago and served as an adjunct faculty member there.
