Evelyn Campbell, an ambulatory surgery employee, was named Alton (Ill.) Memorial Hospital's November employee of the month, according to RiverBender.com.
Three highlights:
1. AMH Vice President Brad Goacher, as well as Heidi Noel and Cathy Wagner from the ambulatory surgery department, presented Ms. Campbell with the award on Nov. 15.
2. Ms. Campbell was recognized for helping co-workers with patient assignments, IV sticks, schedule changes and staffing needs.
3. In addition, she acts as interim board runner, assists with the total joint class and receives regular compliments from patients during postoperative discharge calls.
