The bill allows the state to renegotiate state employees’ health insurance contracts beginning in 2023. The bill also requires the state to implement a prescription-drug formulary to identify high-value prescriptions, and establishes the Patient Savings Act, which will reward consumers for shopping around for healthcare services.

Mr. DeSantis had a past rotator cuff surgery at CenterOne Surgery Center.
