Here are they key survey insights to know:
1. Seventy-seven percent of ASC leaders were satisfied with their current position or job in 2018, compared to 83 percent in 2017.
2. ASC leaders supervise on average 37.34 full-time equivalent employees.
3. ASC leaders said more staff members and finance education were important resources needed to be more successful as a leader.
4. Twenty-one percent of ASC leaders plan to retire between 2018 and 2022, and 30 percent are planning for retirement in 2023 to 2026. More than half of respondents plan to retire before 2027.
