The New England Journal of Medicine last week published a study, ‘No Ifs Ands Or Butts — Colonoscopies Save Lives, ‘ providing evidence that colonoscopies reduce colon cancer deaths by 53 percent.
Western Michigan Cancer Center will provide a health fair and free colonoscopies for 50 uninsured people in March.
