Washington gastroenterology clinic, North Carolina researchers team up

Spokane (Wash.) Gastroenterology is partnering with Velocity Clinical Research to conduct research on gastrointestinal diseases, the Journal of Business reported Oct. 21.

The Durham, N.C.-based clinical research company provides support to research organizations and has 28 research sites nationwide. Its partnership with the Spokane clinic marks its entry into Washington.

The gastroenterology practice has been conducting clinical trials since 2018, mainly trials to test the safety and effectiveness of new treatments. It is conducting several trials on inflammatory bowel diseases.
